Carbon Capture Unit, designed for stand-alone or business applications, utilising natural wind, wind turbines or solar technology to power the turbines, Carbon is to be captured directly using Graphene Oxide Membranes. Once the Carbon is captured and build-up is present the Carbon is stored beneath the unit to which it can be either buried in the ground or converted for other uses dependant on application.
CO2 is currently captured using liquid solvents, once CO2 is absorbed by the solvent CO2 is then released by heating to form a high purity CO2 stream. This process does work, however, it is extremely expensive and pollutive in its own right regarding the Carbon released whilst manufacturing the facilities required which is also not energy efficient.
Graphene is an inexpensive way to capture Carbon, ultimately using Carbon to capture Carbon.
